Plugin FAQ
Our plugin works alongside WooCommerce’s default sorting but takes priority in categories where you’ve set a custom order. Customers can still use other sorting options (like price or popularity) when browsing your store, but your merchandised categories will display products in your chosen order by default.
No! Your custom product orders are stored safely in your database and remain intact through WooCommerce updates. We regularly test our plugin with the latest WooCommerce versions to ensure compatibility and smooth operation.
Not at all. We’ve built advanced caching into the core of our plugin, meaning your custom product orders are cached efficiently. Even stores with thousands of products can use our plugin without any noticeable impact on performance.
New products are automatically added to the end of your custom order. If you’re using the Pro version, you can set rules for where new products appear (e.g., at the top of the category). You can always drag and drop products to a new position at any time.
Yes, with our Pro version! This is one of our most popular features. It allows you to set the product order once in a parent category and automatically apply it to all subcategories. You can still override individual subcategory ordering if needed.
Simple! Each category has a “Reset Order” button that instantly reverts the category back to WooCommerce’s default ordering. This doesn’t affect your products or other category settings – it only removes the custom order for that specific category.
